In every closeness
                                   I saw your gender first
then did I wonder who you truly were

Self-questioning to an non-binary interpersonal relationship.

Caffeine Processed Film

Developed images by using instant coffee, vitamin C and baking soda during the 1st developer stage.
It is environmentally friendly, but also gives the image a unique grainy feel and handmade traces,
emphasizing the materiality and experimental nature of image production.

Blue Toned Prints

I selected segments of 16mm film and re-photographed them using an optical printer.
After hand-processing the each into black-and-white positives, I applied a chemical toning process to dye     the images blue, resulting in a cyanotype-inspired aesthetic.

The entire short film unfolds in two tones—yellow and blue.
These colors, bright or melancholic, mirror an emotional relationship in flux.
I waver between them, caught in the space between warmth and sorrow."
